FXTubeRecorder, Now you can finally add the facility to record direct on your PHP Motion site using webcam "and or" microphone. The module is fully compatible with FMS/WOWZA/RED5.

Record from your cam with various types of settings and control over your recording. The script will be commercially available in 7 days from now. Mean while you are free to use/test and provide your valuable suggestions. The script only requires your theme menus to be updated to add a "Record" link. Rest nothing interferes with your existing php motion files.

Yes the system is completely standalone and will work with any video sharing script. I use the existing template to demonstrate how well it integrates into existing system. Besides that i have noted that unlike joomla and wordpress, PHP Motion is unable to provide a pure mvc architecture, hence templates are very much dependent on output of the php file.Hence to add a menu item to template you need to edit every template which is not good programming. As for the subdomain installation thing, this is only for demonstration and not for use of the php motion script or for sale. I believe you can install wordpress on any subdomain to try it out without any copy right stuff.

to add a menu link, you edit ONE template file......

sir what i mean is that code such as:

<li><a href="uploader.php">[var.lang_upload_video][/url]</li>[/i]

makes the template's system a bit dependent.A pure designer will only know how to make a template with html, css. i have noted that such code:

<li><a href="uploader.php">[var.lang_upload_video][/url]</li>[/i]

appears throughout template's html files which is redundancy. Perhaps in future there can be a way to make this more abstract.

well of course we use tbs template system so that is the way it is coded....

I mean i expected the menu to be one single template file or so. Where each menu item comes with a <li>. But i found each template file has its menu code so its repeated many times in many template file. if it comes in main page it does not come in some other page, until i put the menu item in all pages. anu solution to this ?

Putting the link in templates/main_1.htm in the main menu shows in every page except from the members profile page which is templates/inner_members_header.htm

I do agree that PHPmotion could do with a more abstract / MVC approach though

okay thanks, after 5 tries it worked both audio and video but not great. anytime soon you get this nice and smooth and i'll be wanting this feature! it's a little rough right now.

The quality depends on Client and server. Currently the site is running on Red5 Media Server which is open source but not very great in quality.

Still however as per UI let me know what problems you think you faced ?
