Unable to change text colour of Comments Box

I have just noticed that users of the customise profile featiure are unable to change the colour of the comment text in the comment box.  When I open the customise pop up box and select the comments area, I am unable to type in or select a colour code.  Anything typed in just dissapears and the code box remains blank.

Is this a generic fault or just my installation?

you change the text color when posting, choose the color in the fckeditor like you would do when posting here on the forum

It's not working.  Text colour isnt accepted......  The text colour for hyperlink and all other areas of the user profile works fine.  It only seems to effect the text colour for the comments box.

Correct.  It doesnt work in the custom profile edit page.  The field in which you enter the colour code is empty.  Even if I enter a code it resets to empty as soon as I hit submit.
