Installation without phpShield possible?

Hi guys,

neither I've got a root server, on which I can install everything I need, nor my provider will install this phpShield-feature for me.

Is there a possibility to install and use phpmotion without the phpshield-subfolder?

I get the usuall error-messages.

Unfortunately, it's not possible- you would need to move to a host that was willing accommodate you, or better yet- one that is already set up for and familiar with PHPmotion.

Hi,

any suggestions, which hoster would do the job?

Currently I've got a phpBB-Board with 6000 User and a sql-database which reaches one GB.
This database alone makes it impossible in germany to move to several hoster, because they support just databases up to 100mb.

Sorry about that- didn't mean to leave you hanging.

I don't know about 1GB, but one of my sites is running a nearly 300MB database with no issues...it's been on VimHost for a couple of years now.
