PHPmotion v3 and v 3.5 Support > Upgrading PHPmotion V3 to V3.5

CIrtex can't handle v3.5; enable_dl is not set correct. Eror on Install

I tries to install v3.5 after enrolloing through the PHPmotion website, I got an error on install where the server settings are cheched.
The error was:
enable_dl is not set correct. It should be set to: On
After doing some reading it looks like this can only be turned on in the php.ini
I opened a ticket and they can't seem to do anything.
I have installed the older version of PHPmotion but not knowing the differences I really don't want to get caught behind with fewer features.
Any advice?

Hello

When you tried to install v3.5, did you get any other error apart from the enable_dl. If not, you should try and complete the installation.

enable_dl is used for PHpshield, but if you dont get a PHPsheild error, it does not matter

Thank you for the reply.
I first tried their own link on their CPanel to install PHPMotion which lead me to a non-existant page. So I followed the links on this board and downloaded the latest version for servers running php5.3. I unzipped the file and uploaded it to my public_html root directory. I don't recall any other errors but I did try to run the script after receiving that error and every page I tried to access lead me to a 404 error. Cirtex said it was because the server I'm on is only PHP Version 5.2.14 and I should use the older version.  Since I want to do fairly extensive customizing, I want to use the latest version of PHPMotion which I noticed you said has additional player features already and in the works among other things you folks have worked through since the previous version. 
Should I ask Cirtex if they have another server they could host me on?
 I look forward to your advice.
