Uploaded videos do not appear

kincalvin:
Hello,

I have an issue when uploading videos on phpmotion.
Indeed, uploaded videos do not show up on the website & siteadmin.

Settings seems to be ok :
http://kincalvin.com/siteadmin/tester.php

And uploaded videos do appear in the following folder:
http://kincalvin.com/uploads/avi

Any idea of what could be the issue ?

Thanks in advance.

either the path to php is not right in siteadmin general settings or
the server does not have php cli installed.

when browsing to your site /convertor.php the 2 videos converted

kincalvin:
Thank you very much for your answer.

I didn't know that I could manually upload the posted videos via converter.php, that's good to know.

I have just send a message to my hosting provider to confirm the path to php, and to know if php cli is installed.

I'll keep you updated, thanks again frankie !

kincalvin:
The path to php was not right in the General Settings.
Here are the required informations :

- php cli is installed
- The path to php is the following : usr/lib/php.

Consequently, I have change the path to php in the General Settings (usr/lib/php).

But tester.php still indicates the wrong path to php : usr/bin/php.
And the videos still do not show up automatically after the uploads.

Any ideas why ?

Thanks in advance.

frankie:
don't think that would be the right path, you need the path to the binary,
/usr/bin/php
/usr/local/bin/php

type which php

you also have php5.3.x running, so on some linux distros there is a separate php.ini
for php cli, find that and make sure exec is not disabled
